Introducing: Old Olive Mill House where history meets nature

Several things make the Old Olive Mill House unique. Located in the Aquasanta part of Montalto Ligure, directly by the Carpesina River, this holiday home is an oasis of peace and lush nature. While most of the houses in medieval Montalto are in narrow alleys which can be reached only by foot, the Old Olive Mill has a spacious garden and a private parking right in front of the house. Here you are in the middle of nature, yet minutes' away from the bars and restaurants of Montalto and Badalucco and some twenty minutes from the beaches of Arma di Taggia and Bussana.

The house is a centuries old olive mill, perfectly restored with all modern comforts, yet with preserved unique features including the impressive olive mill wheel in the dining area. The Old Olive Mill is furnished with beautiful massive wood furniture, recreating the rustic feel of an olive mill. The dining and living areas on the first level are spacious, with high ceilings and old wooden beams that add warmth and character to the house. The living area features a beautiful open fire and exposed old stone walls. The bedroom with double bed and a toilet are also on the first level. The second level features a quiet bedroom, a toilet and a modern, spacious bathroom with double wash basin and a rain shower.

The spacious lush garden with a private river pool is definitively the main highlight of the Old Olive Mill House. It can be accessed directly from the kitchen through a big glass door which can be completely open, creating a beautiful indoor-outdoor space. The garden has comfortable furniture and is a perfect spot to relax with a book or a glass of wine. It also offers a lot of space for children to play and explore. The private river pool is ideal for refreshing dip in the afternoon.
